Joe Liburdi is out of retirement and back on top! For 57 years Joe has been a diver and underwater photographer. For 37 of those years he has been a retailer, a pioneer and advocate of underwater photographic equipment when there was only a Nikonos I and Sea & Sea still unknown.

Joe has co-authored six books on underwater photography and one on marine life in the Pacific Northwest. His work has appeared in a host of publications, winning renown with his distinctive style, what he calls, “the way I see it.”

But Joe’s true reward has been introducing divers to the joys of underwater imaging. His fans and followers are near and far. Students have been known to fly into town to buy equipment from him and benefit from his knowledge, professionalism, and integrity. He is a patient and effective teacher.
